You CAN use iSpring on your Moodle VLE!

Last year I posted about the unfortunate fact that the makers of the great Powerpoint to Flash Converter, iSpring were not allowing teachers to use the product on their Virtual Learning Environments. Over the subsequent months there was talk of them changing the terms of use and recently they did so, requiring teachers only to apply for a free academic license in order to be covered. I got an email from Nina Lezhnina the online marketing manager at iSpring Solutions, Inc asking me to raise awareness of this change of conditions – and I am  happy to do that here. More than that, it’s made Emma who works in the training centre at my school happy too – because when she isn’t running around after me she helps staff with routine uploads to Moodle – and iSpring free is a great way to display slideshows with lots of animation and video. (In fact, they even blogged about it before I did!)
