One of my favourite Moodlers on www.moodle.org is Itamar Tzadok -because he is so clever! He always comes up with crafty ideas, bits of code or workarounds to help people. The other day I noticed on this forum post that he had suggested you could get rid of the numbers in course sections simply by adding a bit of code to a label directly inside Moodle. I tried it – it worked fine on 1.9 but didn’t immediately work in 2.0 – that was, said Itamar, because of the theme I was using, and he proceeded to explain and offer a solution. The video below shows how you can do this too, on a course by course basis. Check out the forum thread as well.

Brilliant! It’s one of those things that I’ve wanted to do for a while. I can’t believe it’s so simple! 🙂
